Karela United came away with a 1-1 draw in it’s first ever meeting with Real Tamale United in the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League match-day 15 visit to the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale on Sunday Afternoon.
The host started the game in a spirited mood, controlling much of the possession but were unable to make it count.
The visitors goalkeeper Felix Kyei made a double save in the 22nd minute to deny Real Tamale United the lead.
Real Tamale United took the lead on the 40th minute through Iddrisu Gadafi.
Karela United introduced Kelvin Andoh in the second half and responded he well with the equalizing goal on the 75th minute after been laid on by Emmanuel Owusu Boakye.
The away team hit the doors on many occasions but it all prove futile.
Karela United has moved to 8th position on the league standings with 21 points as Real Tamale United sits at the 11th position with 19 points after fifteen outings in the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.
