Ghana Premier League leaders, Asante Kotoko, will begin the second round of the 2021/2022 season at their favourite Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday with a tough assignment against Dreams FC.
Kotoko have had a solid home record so far this season, having won seven out of nine outings in Kumasi and will look forward to recording another vital victory against a Dreams FC side which managed two away victories in the first round.
The Porcupine Warriors are favourites to extend their lead at the summit of the league log as talents such as Franck Mbella Etouga, George Mfegue, Richmond Lamptey and Dickson Afoakwa, look set to trouble the visitors.
Dreams FC will have a lot of work to do against the in-form Kotoko side which have lost just twice in 17 league games this season.
However, Hearts of Oak will stay in Accra to engage strugglers, Legon Cities, on Saturday with the hope of returning to winning ways after two consecutive draws.
The Phobians drew goalless with rivals Kotoko in a seventh week outstanding league match at the Accra Sports Stadium last Sunday and would seek home comfort against ‘The Royals’.
