Asante Kotoko forward Frank Mbella Etouga has been named NASCO player of the month of January following his impressive performance for the month under review.
Mbella scored a total of five (5) goals in the month of January, which included a hat-trick against Ashanti Gold Sporting Club in a 3-1 win for Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara sports stadium.
He also won two most valuable player in the month.
The Cameroonian forward beat off competition from Karela United’s Umar Bashiru and Ashanti Gold’s Yaw Annor to the prize.
