FC Samartex head coach Henry Wellington has urged his players not to be swayed by numerous of applauds that they have qualified to the Ghana Premier League following their 1-0 away win against Nzema Kotoko.
The Timber Giants sit top of the Division One League Zone two table with 45 points from 18 games played in the 2021/22 Season.
With 13 games away from being declared winners of the league, the former Hearts of Oak Coach has urged his players not to be complacent but rather remained focused on wining their games.
Speaking after their game against Nzema Kotoko, the coach encourage his players to work hard to win more games to realize their dreams of qualifying to the Ghana Premier League for the very first time.
” We are not there yet, so we have to stay focused and work hard to achieve our dreams” he told Domesticsportsgh.com after the game.
Samartex are 8 points adrift second placed New Edubiase and 12 points away from Wellington’s former side Nzema Kotoko.
