Liberty Professionals have leapfrogged Tema Youth to take the top spot on the Zone three table after clinching a 2-1 victory over Tema Youth away from home.
The Scientific Soccer Lads started the encounter on the back foot, going behind right before the half-hour mark thanks to a strike from Evans Osei Wusu.
At halftime, the scoreline was 1-0 in favor of the hosts but Liberty bounced back in the second period.
A smart finish from Blaise Macadjei in the 54th minute leveled matters. The game looked set for a draw until Seedorf Asante struck for the visitors in the 83rd minute.
The fans were ecstatic after the final whistle was blown. Liberty have completed a double over Tema Youth following their 2-0 win in the first leg.
Liberty Professionals now have 55 points whilst Tema Youth have 52.
