Asante Kotoko head coach, Proper Nartey Ogum has expressed his delight to the club’s Ghana Premier League triumph this season.
According to the gaffer, his charges had fought hard hence the deserve to win the Ghana Premier League.
“I’m really happy because we put in a lot of hard work to win the league. The head coach told Oyerepa FM in an interview.
” The journey has been tough though, we thank the management and the supporters their supports because without them this journey won’t be successful ” he added.
Asante Kotoko on Sunday will play the last but one match of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season against relegated Elmina Sharks.
At the end of a game that will be against Elmina Sharks, a coronation ceremony will follow at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium for Asante Kotoko to be handed the Ghana Premier League title for the first time in 7 years.
That game is scheduled to be played on Sunday, June 12, 2022, at 18:00GMT.
