Ngalekyi/Baku D.A Junior High School emerged the winners of the Atuabo Circuit Inter-School Soccer Competition after toppling bitters rivals Atuabo Methodist Junior High School 4:0 in the final of the 2022 edition on Friday, June 17,2022 at the Ngalekpole Town Park.

Atuabo Methodist JHS started to knock through the doors of Ngalekyi/Baku but all their incursions proved futile.

The highly-patronized grande finale saw Atuabo making their intentions clear in the game but failed to make it count, as both sides played cautiously in the first to prevent conceding a goal in the first 15 minutes.

Ngalekyi/Baku opened the fireworks as Francis Kabenlah square up for Gideon Kabenlah to slot in the first of the day from 12 yards.

With just a minute after the first goal, sensational prodigy Francis Kabenlah dazzled pass four defenders of Atuabo Methodist and laid a sweet pass to Dominic Erzoah who beautiful fired it home from close range.

Michael Kaku scored from another Francis Kabenlah assist to make it 3:0 for Ngalekyi Baku before the game was interrupted by the spectators.

After recess, Ngalekyi/Baku wasted no time in killing the game with the fourth of the match through Gideon Kabenlah.

Ngalekyi/Baku who has dominated the Junior High School Division for the past years were ones again crowned the champions on the return of the Inter-Schools festival.

The Circuit-Supervisor, Hon. Abizi Morkeh was full of praise to the winners and commended all the Players,Teachers and the Organizers of the events.

Speaking to Domesticsportsgh com, “I much elated at the talents I have discovered in this festival and hope to see them at the top very soon most especially the fleet footed Francis Kabenlah who has taken this tournament by stardom”, he stated.

Hon. Abizi also thank the security service for ensuring sanity in the competition.
