The Chief Executive Officer of Karela United Football Club, Lawyer Elloeny Amandeh, insist his midfield jewelry Umar Bashiru will not be sold in the upcoming transfer window.
The free scoring midfielder is rumoured to be on the books of Ghanaian League champions, Kumasi Asante Kotoko but the CEO is unwilling to let him leave.
Mr. Amandeh has now confirmed that any proposed move in relation to his topscorer this season is now off.
Speaking to the media after Karela United historic achievement in the Ghana Premier League this season, he said, “Tofiakwaa I have heard about that news but trust me he is going nowhere”
“We are aiming for the ultimate next season and with he “Umar Bashiru” in the team I think we can achieve that, he added”.
After making 32 appearances this season, he notched 15 goals and provided 5 assists in the just ended 2021-22 Ghana Premier League.
The 24-year old joined the Passioners from Wa Suntaa in the 2019-2020 season.
