The Samartex football club according to reports have identified three coaches who could possibly replace head coach, Henry Wellington due to Licensure issues.
Henry Wellington guided Samartex 96 to their very first Ghana Premier League qualification in the just ended 2021/22 Ghana football campaign.
The timber giants are now in the market for a new coach ahead of the 2022/23 Ghana Football Season which kick starts on September 9, 2022.
A lots of names have been linked to the coaching role to replace their historic trainer, Henry Wellington who doesn’t qualify to be on the bench for the Samreboi based club sake of his License B certificate due to Ghana Football Association competition’s rule of Article 12 of the club licensing regulations which focuses on the personnel and administrative criteria for a Premier League club to keep their license.
According to Article 12.1 (a), every Ghana Premier League club must have a head coach with a minimum of a CAF coaching license A or its equivalent.
It also reads that, if an expatriate seeks to manage a GPL team, he needs to have a UEFA A coaching license or better.
Domesticsportsgh.com has been told that, coach Bismark Kobi-Mensah ( Karela United), Former Berekum Chelsea coach Joseph Asare Bediako and Great Olympics gaffer Annor Walker have all been linked to replace Henry Wellington.
