Real Tamale United forward, Augustine Roland Frimpong is close to sealing a move to Ghana Premier League side, Legon Cities in the ongoing transfer window, Domesticsportsgh.com can report.
The 30-year-old will be a free agent after the expiration of his contract this month, ending his 2-year spell with the pride of the North.
He joined Real Tamale United from Wassaman United.
With Legon Cities set to compete for the ultimate trophy next season, they have identified the enterprising forward as a good addition to their squad for the campaign.
He is set to move to Accra for extensive discussion over a possible switch and will become the club’s first signing.
Frimpong has previously played for Nzema Kotoko and was exceptional in the 2019 Normalization Committee Special Cup where they lost 1-0 to Ashgold in the final.
