Medeama Sporting Club have completed the signing of former Ghana youth goalkeeper, Kofi Mensah, ahead of the upcoming football season, Domesticsportsgh.com can report
The 25-year old joins the Miners on a two-year deal after mutually abrogating his remaining contract with Ashgold after the 2021-22 campaign.
Mensah is expected to be a direct replacement for John Moise who has had his contract terminated by the Tarkwa-based side.
The experience shot-stopper joined Ashanti Gold from Power Dynamos at the beginning of the 2020-21 season.
He made 8 appearances in the 2021-2022 Ghana Premier League where he managed to keep four cleansheets and conceded four goals in the process with one MVP before his season ended due to injury.
The ex-Tema Youth prodigy has previously play for Medeama’s regional rivals Karela United from 2018-2019.
He has previously stint with Ebusua Dwarfs.
