Ghana Premier League side, Karela United will begin their pre-season training in Accra today in preparation for the 2022 GHALCA Top 6 tournament.
All players are expected to report to the team camping base for medicals before they will officially start their pre-season.

The players will engage in some physical activities to improve their performance, as well as play some friendlies to fill the team’s voids before their first game on Sunday against Great Olympics.
This year’s top Six will be contested by FA Cup champions Hearts Of Oak, Karela United, Medeama SC, Great Olympics, Bechem United and Berekum Chelsea who just replaced Champions Asante Kotoko.
The competition which will serve as pre-season for the top six best-placed clubs from the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League is scheduled to kick off on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at the Nation’s Capital, Accra Sports Stadium.
All clubs have been pitted into A and B and will have three each. Time schedule for games are with 4:00PM and 6:00PM.
Winner goes home with GH¢40,000, second placed Club pockets Ghc30,000 and the third settling on Ghc20,000 respectively.
