Nzema Kotoko have joined zonal rivals, Swedru All Blacks and Ghanaian top-flight campaigners, Tamale City to battle it out for the signature of Sekondi Hasaacas leading marksman, Alex Kofi Murphy according to reports.
The 22-year-old attacker is out of contract at Hasacaas after the 2021/22 Division One League season.
With 7 goals and 9 assists in 17 games, Murphy was one of the leading goal scorer for the former Premier League side despite their relegation into the lower division.
Murphy had previously played for Karela United during the 2019 Normalisation Committee Special Cup.
His burly physical appearance, stellar dribbling skills, attacking flexibility, and ability to surprise the goalkeeper with long-range shots give him leverage over other attackers in the Elite championship.
