Newly-appointed Karela United FC coach Shaibu Tanko has an immediate target of helping the side to avoid the drop in the ongoing 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.
The former Real Tamale United gaffer replaced Bismark Kobi-Mensah at the club last month.
In an exclusively interview with Domesticsportsgh.com, Shaibu Tanko has therefore set his eyes on helping the struggling side to avoid relegation.
“The club and I are putting in the necessary structures to first and foremost escape relation”.He said.
Karela United will play as guest to Tamale City on Sunday at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium and the trainer is confident of victory in their match week 18 fixture.
According to Coach Tanko, the newly promoted side are a real test and will be a difficult game too following the current position of the Tamale based club.
Karela United are 14th on the table with 22 points after 17 matches.
