The Blues had spent £600million in the last two transfer windows and the club now seemingly desperate to lower their wage bill by trimming their big squad.

There have also been reports that some of the players have been required get dressed for training in the corridors due to the size of the squad.

As a result, the Mirror have reported that a number of players, including Mason Mount, Mateo Kovavic and N’Golo Kante.

Mount and Kovavic still have one year left on their respective deals, although the former is reportedly looking to become one of the club’s top earners and talks between the two parties are ongoing.

Kante, meanwhile, is a free agent in June this year and the club are at risk of losing the World Cup winner for free if they aren’t able to agree to a new deal, with the player and club in talks for some time now.

The report added that Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Christian Pulisic, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Hakim Ziyech and Conor Gallagher could also be moved on at the end of the season.

The six players mentioned above have been unable to solidify for their spot in the Chelsea line-up over the past couple years and could look elsewhere for a fresh challenge.

The Mirror claims that moving on a few players will help restore order in the dressing room, while also helping the club comply with  Financial Fair Play regulations.
