Chelsea FC has announced that they have reached an agreement with young Ghanaian winger Ato Ampah.
The 17-year-old born in Accra, signed a two-year deal until June 2025.
The attacking teenager in the past year has proven that he is one for the future with his impressive displays for the Blues youth team.
Reacting to signing his professional contract, Ato Ampah described it as a special moment not only for him but for his family as well.
“Special moment for my family and I signing a professional contract with Chelsea….come a long way, God bless the journey,” the talented forward said.
The 17-year-old skillful player was signed as an Under-11 from grassroots football and has since gone through the ranks at Chelsea.
He is developing at a rapid pace and looks set to become a first-team player sooner than later.
