Nzema Kotoko defender Yaw Acheampong has attributed his team’s victory over in-form Skyy FC to determination and resilience which was exhibited by the Ampain based club on Sunday.
The Skyy FC team were upset 3-2 by the Nzema based club after the game.
Yaw Acheampong said they prepared to face the Daboase-based club and succeeded with enthusiasm on the part of his teammates.
“Playing against Skyy FC was a very tough for us because they want to qualify to the Premier League.”
But we prepared very well for the game and I think we deserved the win because we were very dominant in all departments in the first half showing resilience and determination. And that has won the game for us,” Acheampong said after the game.
The Ampain based club are still third on the league log and they will face Nation FC in their next fixture at the Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
