Ahead of the crucial game on Sunday against Great Olympics, Inform Karela United shot-stopper Mohammed Abdul Ganiwu has described the showdown as world cup final due to the crucial state of the league.
Karela United are currently lying 13th position on the league log with 39 points and a win against Olympics will see them above the relegation zone.
The Passioners are undefeated in the previous games and looking forward to extend their unbeaten runs to 4 games.
Speaking ahead of the sunday’s game, Mohammed Ganiwu said: ” Playing Olympics on Sunday is like a world cup final for them”.
” We are focused and determined and ready to play them,” he noted.
Abdul Ganiwu who joined the Passioners in the second half of the season from Steadfast FC has impressively kept three clean sheets in 6 games.
The Nzema Aiyinase-based club will play as hosts to Great Olympics in matchday 31 clash at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park on Sunday.
