Great Somas Academy won the 2023 Baby Jet U-16 tournament after defeating Young Generation Academy 1-0 in the final at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
Great Samos Academy with an excellent performance against Young Generation Academy of Sunyani walked away with the win thanks to a second-half score by Samuel Anim Addo.
John Paintsil, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, Odartey Lamptey and Kuuku Dadzie, and other football personalities were present at the tournament.

The inter-school competition of the Baby Jet U-16 tournament saw Edinaman SHS overcome Mfantsipim School 6-5 in exhausting penalty shootouts as part of Gyan’s commitment to uncovering potential in Ghana and Africa through the sport.
The tournament, which was held in the Central Region this year, comprised thirty-two (32) teams from various African countries, offering young players a stage on which to display their talents.
