Nzema Kotoko Board have intensified their search for a new General Manager for the club ahead of the 2023/24 Season, according to reports we have gathered.
Domesticsportsgh.com understands, Mr. Wasiu Mohammed who was appointed as General Manager in 2022 has reportedly left his post.
Since Wasui Mohammed’s reported departure, the day to day running of the club has been in the hands of a few individuals and the club is keen to get a substantive General Manager.
The club’s hierarchy has reportedly begun discussions with the former Medeama SC Chief Executive officer James Essilfie.

They believe that his deep-seated knowledge can be translated and make Nzema Kotoko a formidable force to reckon.
James Essilfie led Medeama SC as a CEO to annex the MTN FA Cup title twice and played in the CAF Confederation Cup on two occasions, featuring in the group stage in 2016.
He played a huge role in the club’s rise in the domestic top-flight.
Essilfie resigned from his post as Medeama SC CEO in 2021 after 13-years spell with the Tarkwa based club.
