Former Black Meteors and Hearts of Oak captain, Samuel Nzemaba has said Coach David Ocloo lacks the qualities to manage Hearts of Oak.
He argued that the aforementioned mentality has hindered his ability to manage a glamorous club like Hearts of Oak.
David Ocloo was appointed to take over the Phobians following the exit of Serbian trainer Slavko Matic.
The 20-times Ghana League champions ended up the 2022/23 season in 12th position with 46 points.
Speaking in an interview with Ghanasportspage.com, The Nzema-born footballer said: “David Ocloo can never handle Hearts of Oak. I heard him in an interview saying he is ready to coach the team if given the opportunity.” You had a poor result as an interim coach, so how can you even be appointed as head coach”,.
He also revealed that managing Hearts of Oak is not Iike Bofoakwa Tano and other small clubs.
“It’s not done anywhere and I won’t even agree if they decide to give him the job, David Ocloo is an average coach”.
“Hearts is not Iike Bofoakwa and other small clubs that you can easily handle” he added.
Nzemaba was former Hearts of Oak defender who also had a short spell at Asante Kotoko.
