MTN ASHANTIFEST 2023: Two strikers battle for goal king award

The 2023 MTN Ashantifest football tournament is gradually getting to its climax, with the 16-team tournament witnessing two of its revelations: Emmanuel Owusu Boakye of Kwadaso and Richmond Antwi of Atonso vie for the Goal King award as the tournament gets to the last four.
With both players locked at six goals apiece in the ongoing tournament, both poachers have declared their strong intentions to land the coveted individual prize at the end of the games while also aiding their respective teams to ultimate glory as well.

Only four teams remain in the 16-team tournament, with Kwadaso, Santasi, Dechemso, and Ejisu all securing spots in the semi-finals after facing stiff opposition but prevailing victorious in their quarter-finals.

On the list of top scorers, Karela United Owusu Boakye and Richmond Antwi appear to have been outscoring one another since the start of the tournament as they compete for the individual prize.

Owusu Boakye’s streak features a hat-trick against Adum, two goals against Atonsu, and one goal against Kwadaso, while Richmond Antwi has been prolific in front of goal, his six goals propelling his side to the last 4.

Emmanuel Boakye and Richmond Antwi will be hoping to get on the score sheet when their respective teams play in the semi-finals of the 2023 MTN Ashantifest football tournament.
