A total of 9 communities including the host Nkroful will participate in the 2023 Nkrumahfest Community Gala slated for Monday, September 18 in Nkroful in the Ellembelle District of the Western Region.
The 3-Day event would see the teams grouped into two zones with the winner to go home with GHC500.00, plus set of Jersey, ball and some consolation prizes from the organizers.
The Nkrumahfest Community gala is an initiative of Nkroful Development Planning Committee to celebrate the birthday of Ghana’s first President Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
All participating teams in the competition are expected to receive Ghc300 each to aid their preparations.
The Nkrumahfest activities will include durbar, seminars, concerts, and football matches.
The 9 communities are Nkroful, Teleku Bokazo, Mvenlesolo, Tadan, Asasetre, Adubrim, Anwia, Akango and Salma.
