Following his heroic performance for the Black Stars in their match against Central Africa Republic on Thursday, Ghana icon Asamoah Gyan has heaped accolades on midfielder Mohammed Kudus.
In the final round of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifications at the Baba Yara Stadium, the West Ham United attacker started and played the full game as Ghana sailed to a 2-1 victory.
Central Africa Republic scored initially, but Mohammed Kudus equalized for the home team in the 43rd minute with a beautiful free-kick. Ernest Nuamah then scored the game-winning goal late in the second half to send Ghana to Ivory Coast 2024.
