Below is the list of new Karela United signings
JOSHUA ADDAI
Addai joined the former Normalisation Committee Special League Tier-I finalist from Tema Youth following his jaw-breaking display with the club.
The 20-year goalkeeper has signed a 3-years deal with the Passioners.
MAXWELL ARTHUR
Arthur will ply his trade with the Passioners after mutually parting ways with Dreams FC.
The defensive midfielder had an established association with the Dawu-based outfits, spanning six years. He initially joined the club’s youth ranks before progressing to the senior team during the 2016/17 season.
His debut in the Ghana Premier League came against New Edubiase where he came as a substitute for Aaron Amoah.
SAMUEL ARTHUR
The 34-year old veteran defender is a Passioner after leaving Dreams FC after the expiration of his contract.
The former Elmina Sharks captain joins Karela United who are without their experience skipper Kwadwo Addae and Kweku Osei whom the club could not meet their contractual demands.
PRINCE NANA KWESI DARMANG
The midfielder joins Karela United after ending his short stint with the Continental club Masters, Accra Hearts of Oak.
The 25-year old is expected to strengthen the Karela United midfield after the departure of Isaac Donkor, Philip Flamini and Ebenezer Ocran who is currently with FC Samartex.
Darmang has formerly played for Bofoakwa Tano FC, Don Bosco and Congolese football powerhouse TP Mazembe.
SAMUEL ASIEDU
The 21-year old has reunited with Karela United where he had a short spell with in the 2020-21 season on loan from Asekem FC.
The youngster has joined the CAM Park Mafias following the exit of Solomon Twene.
MUNTARI SHAFIQ
The former Gold Stars midfielder has completed a move to Karela United following a successful mandatory medicals.
The 22-year old has previously played for Real Tamale United and Ashanti Gold SC.
ABDUL BASHIRU
Karela United has acquired the service of the doyen from Accra Great Olympics.
The 31- year old has enormous experience playing in the Ghana Premier League, having featured for Ashantigold, Dreams FC and Bechem United in the past.
MOHAMMED ASIGRE
The talented midfielder joins the Passioners from Steadfast Football Club ahead of the season.
The 20-year old has inked a two-years deal with the Karela United.
MAXWELL AGYEMANG
The stalwart defender had his contract abrogated by Asante Kotoko just two-years after joining them from Mighty Royals.
His presence will strengthen the defense of Karela United who has lost Kweku Osei and Kwadwo Addae.
OSHIE MAMOUD
The 24-year old is joining the Passioners on a free transfer after ending his short stay with Nigerien outfit Sahel FC.
The erstwhile Gold Stars kingpin has previous played for Wassaman United, Berekum Chelsea & King Faisal Babes.
IBRAHIM GIYASU
The 27-year old joins the Pride and Passions from Samartex 1996 following the expiration of his contract.
The highly-rated attacker had a scintillating season with the Timber Giants’ last season.
WALIU TEMIMU
The young defender will be playing his maiden top-flight (Ghana Premier League) with the Pride and Passions.
He joins from Northern City Football Club.
Karela United will play as guest to Legon Cities on Sunday.
