After a stunning 3-1 victory over Horoya AC in Cape Coast, Medeama Sporting Club is one match away from securing qualification to participate in the group stages of the CAF Champions League this season.
Nana Kofi Babil scored in the 58th minute of the second half to put Medeama SC ahead before Nurudeen Abdulai doubled their advantage later in the 65th minute.
A thunderbolt strike from Kofi Asmah four minutes later secured a 3-1 victory for Medeama SC.
Horoya AC’s lone consolation goal was scored in the 89th minute.
In two weeks, Medeama will play their crucial second leg match in Guinea in an effort to secure their progression.
