Chelsea academy graduate, Callum Hudson-Odoi, has been capped three times by England, with all coming in 2019.
Given his age and the fact that he hasn’t participated in more than three competitive England matches, the 22-year-old is still permitted to switch teams under Fifa regulations.
Hudson-Odoi told The Telegraph: “That decision hasn’t been made yet. I’m still thinking it over. Ghana is a very good option but let’s wait and see.”
“Hopefully once I start playing games here, maybe Gareth [Southgate] or Ghana will come.”
“It’s a nice position to be in and hopefully sooner or later we will know.”
He is eligible for Ghana because of his line of descent, and he is still eligible to wear the Black Stars jersey.
Hudson-Odoi has played for England at all levels of youth competition, and he was a member of the Under-17 team that won the World Cup in 2010.
