Lawyer Elleony Amande, Karela United Chief Executive Officer has highlighted his chances of becoming Ghana Football Association Executive Council member.
As the impending GFA elections loom, the former media practitioner shed light on the transformative changes in the league, showcasing his commitment and ready to develop and promote Ghana football when elected as GFA Exco member.
” We are ready to serve the nation with all our hearts, looking at my experience in the industry and I think it’s the right time for us to help build a better GPL and GFA, Let’s take the love of the game to new heights ” he told West End Radio which was monitored by Domesticsportsgh.com.
As the GFA Elections Committee unveiled the list of candidates vying for various positions, including the Ghana Premier League One League ( GPL) Clubs Exco Positions, Elleony Amande’s stands among the contenders.
But he would have a fierce fight on his hands, trying to negotiate past the challenges posed by the fresh entrants including Onyina Asenso Boakye of Legon Cities, Edmund Kwabena Ackah of Samartex, James Kwesi Appiah of Kotoko, Amadu Moro Brimah (Alhaji Akambi) of Hearts of Oak, and Raphael Tawiah Gyambrah vying on the ticket of Nsoatreman FC.
Experienced Randy, Kingsley Osei Bonsu, Nana Sarfo Oduro, Frederick Acheampong and Anthony Kwesi Aubynn although have been tipped as favourites to retain their positions after the elections.

Elleony Amande has been placed 10th on the ballot paper ahead of this month’s elections.
Eleven candidates representing Premier League Clubs will vie for the five slots allotted to the division on the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Committee (ExCo) at its Elective Congress scheduled for, Friday, October 4 at the Redaach Memorial Hotel in Tamale.
