Karela United humiliated: Kobi-Mensah gets revenge over Karela United with 4-0 win

Bechem United recorded an emphatic away victory against Karela United at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale.

The Bechem based club recorded their second away win in a row after beating Karela United 4-0 on Sunday in match week 13 of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.

The win means the Hunters are fourth on the league table with 20 points while Karela United slipped into the relegation zone with 12 points.

Emmanuel Avornyo opened the scoring for the visitors in the 17th minute to silence the home crowd and send his team into the break 1-0 ahead.

Five minutes after the break, Augustine Okrah added a second goal for the Hunters to take the game beyond Karela United.

The former Asante Kotoko winger bagged his brace 10 minutes later in the 60th minute to put Bechem United in a 3-0 lead.

Avornyo then wrapped up the game with his own brace in the 94th minute, ending the match 4-0.

Karela United will play away to Nsoatreman in a fortnight while Bechem United on Monday, December 11 in match week 14 of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.
