Basake Holy Stars extended their impressive start to the season as they beat Elmina Sharks 1-0 for their 6th successive victory in the Division One League.
The Unbeatable side won the tight contest thanks to a first half stunner by Prince Opoku as he headed a midair cross into the net.
Elmina Sharks have themselves to blame for another defeat of the season. They created many glaring opportunities, especially in the first half but surprisingly failed to convert it.
Basake Holy Stars will stay top of the league log with 22 points while Sharks could find themselves in the bottom half after 10 league games in the 2023/24 Division One Zone Two season.
