Karela United goalie Abdul Ganiu Mohammed has expressed his delight after winning NASCO Player of the Match Award during his side 0-0 draw against Medeama SC.
The 23-year old was excellent despite his side stalemate against defending Ghana Premier League champions.
Ganiu has been in outstanding form since his move to Karela United in early this year.
” Happy to win the award, but I would have preferred the 3 maximum points” he told Domesticsportgh.com reporter Abukari Illiasu after the game.
Karela United are 15th on the league log with 16 points.
