Basake Holy Stars have kept the hopes of qualifying for the Ghana Premier League following the latest ruling by the Ghana Football Association Disciplinary Committee.
Basaka Holy Stars were dragged to the Disciplinary Committee by two clubs Nzema Kotoko and Venomous Vipers for fielding an unqualified player.
Following the latest verdict published by the Disciplinary Committee revealed that the protest filed against Holy Stars lacks evidence and has been dismissed according to Article (30) of the Division One League competition rules.
The ruling of the case today has brighten the Nzema based club chances of qualification to the Ghana Premier League.
After 27 games played and pending an outstanding game with Sefwi All Stars, Basake Holy Stars tops the summit in Zone Two with 50 points, two points ahead of New Edubiase (48).
