With three games left in the season, the top three teams Samartex, Aduana and Medeama are separated by six points, promising to offer edge-of-the-seat thrills through the home stretch.
Defending champions Medeama, third in the table after winning their previous game against Tano Bofoakwa in the week 31 of the Ghana Premier League.

As the tournament moves into its business end, with three league games left, the competition is extremely tight at the summit.
Samartex is now on top with 55 points maintaining their fine form and clearly 6-points above Aduana while Medeama also trailed by six.
Looking at the remaining fixtures, it is evident that Medeama and Samartex Stars have the toughest challenge.
All three teams are playing three games which makes it a level playing field on that front. However, the Samartex have significantly tougher opponents in their remaining three games.

Sax will play host to regional rivals Bibiani Gold Stars, before playing relegation- threatening Karela United in a crucial away fixture.
The Timber Giants will however end their 2023/24 season with another crucial moment with Accra Lions at the Nsienkyire Sports Stadium.
Samartex has been in flying form recently and has won six out of its last 10 league games in before the loss against Hearts of Lions .

Aduana four- home game winning streak was halted with a 1-2 defeat to Karela United but they have won two of their last games against Nations FC putting them back on track.
Looking at the overall form, Samartex have won 17 out of the last 31 games whereas Aduana and Medeama have won 16 and 14 respectively.
This has given the edge to Coach Amadu’s team in terms of points through this phase with two games left to play.
With the Ghana Premier League using head to head as the first point of a tiebreaker, Samartex edged out both Medeama and Aduana in that regard.

This means, with three games to go, a win for Samartex in their next game – at home against Bibiani Gold Stars, would confirm them as champions for the 2023/2024 season.
However, Amadu Nurudeen’s side may yet still become champions even if they fail to beat Gold Stars at the weekend, provided their result matches those of their closest title rivals.

Medeama host relegation threatened Kpando Hearts of Lions, while Aduana face a tough trip to Bechem United.
Samartex boasts of the league’s best defensive record, conceding just 24 goals in their 31 games so far this season.
