Real Tamale United spokesperson, Mohammed Abubakar has urged the general public to rubbish speculations that their game against Dreams FC today, June 12, 2024 might not happen and added to it that the team is fully prepared and poised for action.
According to a report carried by Kumasi based Nhyira FM last Tuesday, the players of RTU are unwilling to play their game against Dreams FC later this afternoon due to unpaid salaries for months.
“It’s never true, the team is fully prepared and ready to face Dreams FC this evening so we are fully prepared and focus”, Mohammed said.
“Our focus is to make sure we play this match today and possibly win for our club so we are playing the match”.The match is coming on so they should disregard it as I said we are playing the match. We are currently in Dawu preparing for today’s game so I don’t understand why people do that or they speak to achieve,” he added.
The game is slated for 15:00GMT today at the Theater of Dreams park in Dawu.
