Basake Holy Stars have officially been crowned Division One League Zone II champions following their 1-0 win over Rospak in a special coronation match.

They secured promotion to the Ghana Premier League last week after Matchday 30.

Holy Stars, who are set to participate in the Ghanaian top-flight next season climaxed the Division One League campaign with a special coronation hard-fought win over Rospak FC.

Despite creating goalscoring opportunities, both teams were unable to find the back of the net as the first half ended in a pulsating goalless draw.

After an exciting second half, Basake Holy Stars finally broke the deadlock with a late strike in the 81st minute, capping off their efforts for the entire season.

Basake Holy Stars finished at the summit of the standings in Zone 2, accumulating 56 points from 30 games. The team recorded 17 wins, 7 draws, and 6 losses throughout the season.

At a short coronation, Holy Stars were presented with 40 gold medals and a trophy after emerging victorious in Zone 2 of the Division One League.
