The bankroller of Division Two side, Zico Professionals, Francis Ndede Siah, has revealed that, his outfits have spent close to Ghc300,000 in preparations at this year’s Western Regional Super Middle League competition.
Speaking in an interview with Takoradi based Skyy Power FM, he stated that, his outfit had good preparations for the tournament, traveled to Ivory Coast for one month all in the name of Super Middle League preparations.
” Football is full of money, but if you don’t have passion you can’t do it, Can you imagine we traveled to Ivory Coast and spent over one month to prepare for the middle League, In this scenario if you are not a fan of football, you won’t be able to do it, We have spent Ghc250,000 or almost GHC300,000 in preparations alone.” He added.
Zico Professionals were disqualified from the middle League final after fielding an unqualified player against Nsuopong Fidelity.
Nsuopong Fidelity will however, play Eleven Wise on Saturday at the Akoon Park in Tarkwa.
