Ghana Premier League newbies, Basake Holy Stars FC have appointed enterprising sports journalist, Alfred Takyi Mensah as the head of their communications department.
The Media General employee has been handed the enviable position as the club seeks to enhance their promotion and communication activities.
‘Alfredo’ as popularly referred to, has joined Basake Holy Stars with vast experience having worked in the media parlance for over a decade.
The award-winning sports journalist who doubles as the head of the sports department at Onua FM/TV (a subsidiary of Media General) has been assigned to provide oversight and guidance to the club’s communication team.
Basake Holy Stars emerged champions of zone II of the Division One League last season, and will have their debut Ghana Premier League campaign in the 2024/25 season.
