The head coach of Kpando Hearts of Lions, Bashir Hayford, has expressed confidence in his side’s capability of beating Bibiani GoldStars on Sunday, September 29.
Heart of Lions were held to a 2-2 draw by GoldStars the last time the two sides clashed at the Kpando Sports Stadium, and thus becoming the only team to have prevented the Volta-based boys from taking all three points since moving back to their original home grounds.
“Yes, that’s exactly what we are preparing for. We want to go to Kpando and see what it is.
“Last season, they were the only team that drew with us at Kpando, and so this season we want to change that. We are going back to Kpando to prepare well,” Hayford said in an interview ahead of the 2024-25 Ghana Premier League matchday four clash.
Dr. Randy Abbey’s Lions are third on the Ghana Premier League standings with five points as they aim for a rise to the top with a win at Kpando, with Hayford looking to maintain an unbeaten run.
