The Municipal Youth Parliament Speaker of the Evalue Ajomoro Gwira Municipality, Jonas Kabutey has given final warning to authorities over the Axim Sports Complex.
As your most reliable source reported earlier, the government and relevant stakeholders are planning to commission all the sports complexes in Ghana including the uncompleted Axim Sports Complex before Dec 7 General Elections.
In an exclusive interview with Domesticsportsgh.com regarding the recent development of the project Jonas Kabutey has revealed, the National Youth Authority together with the Nzema East municipal will commission the uncompleted Axim Sports Complex before Dec 7.
” I don’t agree with the government for the commissioning of the project, the project has not been completed let’s try and fix all the abandoned facilities before such ceremony” he noted.
” As a speaker of the youth wig of the municipality, they should wait and finalize everything before or we won’t allow the commissioning to come on” he added.
The delay in the completion of the Sports Complex has by extension affected sports development in Axim and it’s a major concern for the youth of the area.
The Axim Sports Complex if completed is expected to have a FIFA standard playing field, restaurant, ICT Laboratory and others.
