Kumasi Asante Kotoko has reportedly reached an agreement with the former Tamale City forward Sampson Eduku Domesticsportgh.com can exclusively report.
The 28-year-old attacker is currently a free agent after parting ways with Iraqi side Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya, where he had a brief stint following his impressive performances for Tamale City in the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.
Eduku was a standout player for Tamale City, netting 14 goals and providing three assists in 27 appearances before making the move to Iraq in August 2023. His return to Ghana has sparked interest, with the Porcupine Warriors offering him an opportunity to prove himself.
He joined Kotoko’s training sessions in November 2024, and has reportedly impressed the technical team, led by coach Prosper Narteh Ogum, and expected to earn a contract with the record Premier League champions.
