Basake Holy Stars head coach Abdulai Gazale has called on the supporters of the club to have patience for the team in the current campaign.
Following their stalemate against Aduana Stars, some supporters were seen having hot discussion with the head coach, Abdul Gazale.
However, during post match interview, the head coach explained that, the supporters and fans of the club should lower their expectations because the team is young and new in the Ghanaian topflight.
” I want to put this one out to our supporters, they need to calm down, the expectations are too high, because my team is young and not mature enough like Aduana Stars and other teams, most of them ( players) are from division two, I will say they should exercise patience and lower their expectations, We are working one or two things to make the team stronger”, he said.
Basake Holy Stars are 8th on the league log with 22 points and will play host to Accra Hearts of Oak this Sunday in the match-week 18 of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign.
