This decision follows the violent incidents that erupted during their Ghana  Premier League Matchday 19 fixture against Asante Kotoko, which ended in a 1-0 victory for Nsoatreman but was overshadowed by chaos, injuries, and the tragic loss of life.

In response, the GFA has invoked Article 14(2) of the Premier League Regulations, imposing an indefinite ban on Nsoatreman’s home venue to safeguard all stakeholders while investigations are conducted.

Additionally, the GFA has tasked its Security Committee, led by DCOP Lydia Donkor, along with FA Prosecutors, to gather all relevant evidence, including match reports and documentation, for submission to the Disciplinary Committee.
The Ghana Police Service has also been engaged to conduct a full-scale investigation, with a mandate to identify, arrest, and prosecute those responsible for the violence.
Reaffirming its zero-tolerance policy for violence, intimidation, and hooliganism in Ghana football, the GFA warned that severe sanctions will be imposed on any club, official, or supporter found guilty of such acts.
Further updates on the investigation and disciplinary measures will be communicated in due course.
