Chief Executive Officer of Techiman Eleven Wonders, Steven Puro, says the club is well-prepared for a return to the Ghana Premier League as they prepare for the upcoming Division One League playoff.
The Sure Wonders have secured a playoff spot in the ongoing Access Bank Division One League (DOL) and are just one victory away from regaining top-flight status after a three-year absence.
Speaking to KickOffGhana.com, Puro reflected on the club’s turnaround and expressed confidence in their readiness.
“We are ready for Premier League football. Before my appointment, the club was battling relegation in Division One.
We successfully avoided the drop, planned strategically, and conducted thorough recruitment,” he said.
Eleven Wonders will face Real Tamale United (RTU) in a decisive playoff. Puro acknowledged the quality of their opponents but insisted his side is fully focused on securing promotion.
“Real Tamale United is a strong team. Facing them won’t be easy. They just got relegated from the Premier League last season and still retain many of their top-flight players, giving them more experience. However, we are determined to fight, overcome the challenge, and make the good people of Techiman proud by returning to the Premier League.”
Eleven Wonders were relegated at the end of the 2021/22 season and have since been working to reclaim their place among Ghana’s elite clubs.
