Former Ghana Premier League side, Berekum Arsenal have returned to the second tier football after beating Bectero Sasana FC 2-1 in the Brong Ahafo Division Two play off at the Golden City Park on Saturday.
The Gunners came through with determination to seal the qualification despite stiff competition from Bectero Sasana FC.
The result means Berekum Arsenal have qualified for the 2025/26 Division One League after getting relegated in 2023.
The Berekum based club will join 15 other clubs in Zone One A & B for the next season’s competition.
The 2025/26 Division One League campaign will kick off on the weekend of Friday September 26, 2025 and ends on May 11, 2026 across the three zones.
