The much anticipating Community Football League competition Ellembelle Premier League ( EPL) has been launched in a grand style on Sunday September, 21st 2025.

The historic competition will feature 12 communities who have excelled through their district various competitions like Ellembelle MP’s Cup, WEISFA Cup, Ramadan Cup, Comrade Cup, EDFA Division 3 and annual Kundum Cup.

The Communities include, Anokyi United, Teleku Bokazo, Esiama, Kikam, Asanda, Asasastre, Nkroful, Kamgbunli, Atuabo and Awiebo/ Menzizor.

The competition is designed to run for 10 weeks with the 11th week to be decided for the major final.

The main Sponsor, Hon Bonzo Ewereko revealed the reasons behind the historic event and tagged it as a platform to foster unity and discover talents.

” The EPL has come to stay, this platform will discover the true talents and I believe we will have a very competitive competition, the winner of the league will take home GHC10,000, runners up GHC5,000 and the third place GHC2,500.00″, he revealed.

The EPL is expected to cover for three months from October and ends in December 2025.
