Accra Hearts of Oak claimed a second successful 1-0 victory in the Ghana Premier League with a hard fought win over Eleven Wonders at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday evening.
The Phobians seized the initiative early, and their pressure paid off in the 17th minute when Enock Asubonteng capitalized on a goal mouth scramble for a corner to fire a home.
Victory lifted Hearts to the summit of the league table with seven points from three matches, though their position could change as the weekend’s fixture unfold.
For Eleven Wonders, the defeat means the search for a first win of the campaign continues, having now gone three game without success.
Hearts will travel to Bechem, while Wonders face Young Apostles in their bid to start of the season.
