Legendary Brazil national team coach, Carlo Ancelotti, has said that Chelsea are ‘really lucky’ to have ‘very talented’ Estevao Willian in their squad.
The 18-year-old Brazil international joined the Blues from Brazilian club, Palmeiras in the summer of 2025 in a deal worth an initial £29m.
The deal could hit £50m due to add-ons, and the youngster is already looking like a record breaker in the early stages of his Chelsea career.
Estevao has scored four goals in his 10th appearance for Brazil and the last one came against Senegal in an international friendly on Saturday.
Ancelotti is impressed with what his legendary eyes see in the 18-year-old and heaped praise on the Chelsea star, who he described as ‘incredible’.
“Estevao has an incredible amount of talent,” Ancelotti told reporters.
“It’s a surprise this level at his age.
“He’s good at finishing, has a lot of magic… and he works very hard. I can say this: with Estevao, Brazil has a guaranteed future,” he said.
The former Everton boss said the youngster does not need to play the entire 90 minutes of football to show his quality.
“I think the Brazil national team is really lucky to have him, and also Chelsea,” he added.
