The facility forms part of a grand upgrading project that seeks to meet international standards, as said by GFA President Kurt Okraku at the “Meet the Press” event at the Lancaster Hotel in Kumasi.

“We have the clearance to invest in a 40-bed accommodation in Prampram, construction will start soon and it will include a modern-day gymnasium, a swimming pool and a medical Centre to service our footballers and athletes who use our Prampram Technical Center” President Simeon-Okraku said.

“Indeed, the entire land space will be fenced very, very soon, work is going to start very soon and I mean this year” he added.

The GFA stated that the project will be financed using prize money from Ghana’s 2022 FIFA World Cup participation in Qatar.
