Historically for so many years, the teachers within Evalue Ajomoro Gwira Constituency in the Western Region will be recognized for their outstanding contributions and hardwork in the 2024/25 academic year.
The Nzema East Municipal Teachers’ awards have been rebranded with a new initiative by the Member of Parliament for the constituency Hon. Kofi Arko Nokoe with the backing of the MCE, Hon. Herbert Kuah Dickson and the Municipal Education Directorate.
As a former pupil teacher, Hon Kofi Arko Nokoe recognizes the importance and the impact teachers have on the society.
In an exclusive interview on West End Radio, Hon.Kofi Arko Nokoe said teachers play a pivotal role in the development of a nation and therefore deserve to be recognized and celebrated.
He added that, the current education system is in good state but will not be effective without teachers.
The students from the basic level had good results and one the best district in the 2025 Overall BECE ranking.
This year’s event will be held today November 18, 2025 at the Victoria Park in Axim, the municipal capital.
