The midfielder contract with the Porcupine Warriors is set to expire and it is believed management of the club are in talks with the player’s agent in the bid to extend the contract.

Agent of the player, Ibrahim Gbekle told Kumasi based Wontumi FM that his client will extend his deal if the two-time African Champions are able to offer him a GHC4,000 monthly salary.

“When we met the management of Kotoko I proposed a GHC5,000 monthly salary but there we reluctant to pay that. But Senanu will extend if Kotoko agrees to pay GHC4,000 to the player monthly” he said.

Senanu’s spell with the Porcupine Warriors has been plague by injuries and the club is yet to see the best out of him.

The combative and ball-playing midfielder suffered a nasty knee in 2019 while in action for the Porcupine Warriors in a CAF Confederation Cup clash against Zambian outfit Zesco United.

After series of scans in the country, he was flew to Germany to start his rehabilitation process which sidelined him for more than a year.

He has recovered fully and now form part of coach Mariano Bareto squad in the ongoing season though he is yet to establish himself as a key figure for the side.

He has not featured in any of the club’s league matches since returning from injury.
